Welcome Home 🦋

I'm not here to fix you.

I'm here to remind you that there is nothing wrong with you.

I help cycle-breakers and deep feelers move from survival strategies to reclaim the life they were meant to live and thrive in.

Together, we co-create a foundation of love and kindness for yourself… one that honors your full humanity and reminds you that healing isn't about fixing, but remembering who you've always been.

This work is my love letter to the universe and everyone silently seeking a way forward.

It's a legacy of hope, healing, and humanity.

Personalized support with a coach who gets it.

Before I was a trauma-informed life coach…

I was a survivor (just like you).

Someone trying to make sense of it all —

the pain, the patterns, the constant pressure to keep it together

while fighting off intrusive thoughts every single day.

I tried to heal by doing everything "right."
Read the books. I joined every program I could find.
And still felt like I was completely winging this whole thing called healing.

NGL — even after all that work, I still felt disconnected.

Because no one ever told me that healing isn't about fixing yourself..

It's about finding a space where you can finally stop performing, drop the mask, and be radically honest about what hurts.

That's what I needed back then.

And it's what I now create for every client who walks into Heart Core.

When we work together, I'm not gonna rush your process or tell you to "just move on."
a
I help you make sense of what's coming up, connect it to what's ready to heal, and start building self-trust one step at a time.

Because you don't need someone to fix you.

You just need someone who gets it, and can walk beside you while you find your way back to yourself.

It didn't start with certifications or clarity.

It started with a girl who kept trying
to run away from her own life.

I was the kid who packed her pain in a small bag and ran away from home.

Not once. Not twice. Welp tbh too many times to count. 🫥

Maybe you know what that feels like… that quiet desperation to hit the reset button on your whole life and start over somewhere new, where no one knows your story.

Clean slate, they say.

Each time I left, I swore I'd make it farther.

Each time, I came back… sometimes by force, sometimes by choice, always carrying a little more courage and a little less hope.

At sixteen, I thought my "great escape" had finally arrived —
a full scholarship to study in Manila. (I'm originally from Cagayan de Oro City.)

I'd been working since I was thirteen. To paint a picture:

  • teaching dance classes after school and on weekends

  • training in Taekwondo while assisting the head coach to cover tuition

  • holding onto the hope of a collegiate scholarship

  • and grieving my father's passing while pretending I was fine in this "new normal" of life after loss

Getting to Manila was the product of hard work.
Pretty Heart Core, if you ask me. 😉

Finally, a chance to reinvent myself.

Want the real story?

Have you ever tried to outrun your past and end up running straight into it?

Yeah. That was me.

I thought leaving would save me. It didn't.

I didn't know that yet.
So I kept running.

By my twenties, I'd mastered the art of pretending —
smiling through panic attacks, calling burnout "purpose",
using work, alcohol, and nicotine to quiet the internal noise inside.

Functioning so well on the outside that no one saw the unraveling underneath. IYKYK.

The thing about suppression is that it doesn't disappear. It waits.

And when mine finally surfaced? FML.
It fucking sucked.

Everything I thought people admired me for my strength,
my resilience, my independence were the very things that kept me silent.

That realization cracked me open.

And in that breaking, I finally saw the truth:

Healing doesn't happen when you run from yourself.
It begins when you finally stop running.

Freedom isn't distance. It's safety.

Everything changed when I stopped fixing and started feeling.

So I did the one thing I swore I'd never do… I slowed down.

Let myself cry without rushing to understand why.
Let my body shake and my mind soften.
Let people in.

And slowly, the shame that once defined me began to dissolve.

That's when I realized: every pattern I hated in myself was just a younger version of me asking for safety.

In time, my pain became my teacher.

My story became my curriculum.

And from that place, Heart Core was born.
Not as a business. As a deep prayer for global healing.

That no one should ever have to navigate their pain alone.

That safer spaces should feel human again.
That safety should never be a privilege, but a right.

It became my love letter back to every version of me who thought she wasn't worth saving.

Now, I help others remember what I almost forgot:

There is nothing wrong with you.

You were never broken. You were just surviving.

And every single chapter — even the painful ones
can become a bridge back to your power.

That’s real strength. It means you fought to stay alive long enough to find this moment.

Maybe you're still finding your way home. That's okay. So was I.

You don't have to rush. You don't have to have it figured out.

Healing isn't about arriving.

It's about remembering you were always whole, and finally letting that truth land in your body.

I don't just hold the space.

I actually help you connect to what safety feels like for you,
so you can take up space.

Read that again.
Feel the difference in your body.

Because what we often call "stuck" or "lost" isn't failure.
It's protection. It's your nervous system doing its best to keep you safe.

So within Heart Core, we slow down.

We listen to what your body is trying to say beneath the noise.

We work with those parts, not against them.

This is trauma-informed coaching that doesn't rush, perform, or bypass.
It moves at the pace of safety, not urgency.

It’s a collaborative space where healing becomes less about perfection and more about permission.

Where being a ‘work in progress’ isn't just okay…

It's kind of the whole point. 😎

Because when safety leads, transformation lasts.

The Heart Core Difference

Safety looks different for every body, every identity, and every story. Because it isn't one-size-fits-all and I'd never assume I already know what it looks like for you.

That's actually one of the first things we figure out together.

True healing honors both our shared humanity
and our different realities.

My mission is to help people move from pain to personal power by creating safer spaces where healing, growth, and joy can thrive.

Grounded by the Filipino values of Kapwa (shared identity) and Bayanihan (communal unity); they remind me that our healing is interconnected from East to West. That when one of us chooses repair, there is hope that all of us can rise.

Heart Core isn't just a coaching practice. It's a conscious movement and a lifelong commitment to learning and unlearning, and honoring the truth that we are never fully arriving.

Life is happening now. And it's ours to make meaning from it.

Why Heart Core Exists?

How We Live Those Values

  • Safety is the foundation for everything we co-create together.

  • Rest, boundaries, and honesty are our love languages.

  • We move from shame to curiosity
→ letting compassion lead the way.

  • We break cycles by naming what hurts and putting down the masks, together.

  • Continuous education, unlearning, and reflection to dismantle systems of oppression.

  • As a proud member and advocate of the LGBTQIA+ community - every person deserves to feel safe and seen here.

  • We normalize the need for support so others find courage in asking for help.

The Belief Behind It

These aren't bullet points on a wall.
They're the principles that guide every coaching conversation,
every resource, every moment we share.

Healing isn't meant to be done in isolation.

It's meant to ripple through our bodies, our families, and our communities.

Heart Core, in Real Life

Healing runs deep and is important work — but I'm also just a human who laughs too loud, takes short naps throughout the day, and believes memes are a legitimate art form.

When I'm not coaching or writing, I'm leading BTS as the Program Director of the Quantum Coaching Academy — the same community space where I got certified and found my purpose.

So yes, I still work a full-time job while building this one.

Proof that you can honor your healing, your craft, and your livelihood all at once.

Some other things about me:

🎬 I've rewatched New Girl, Schitt's Creek, and Grace & Frankie more times than I can count.

👶🏻 Child-free by choice and proudly "Tita / Auntie B" to three amazing kiddos (shoutout to my sister and brother-in-law for my built-in besties.)

🥋 Former athlete — track, gymnastics, Taekwondo (yes, black belt included).

🐾 Dreaming of a corgi puppy who naps as much as I do.

🏝️ Born and based in the Philippines.

When life gets loud, I come back to movement, music, family, and moments that make me laugh until I cry.

And while this might not be your truth right now,

Trust me when I say: healing makes it possible to laugh again. Even louder this time. 😉

I'm deeply committed… to this craft, and to you.

Every certification, every hour of study,
and every lived experience has been in service of one thing:

creating safer spaces where healing feels human again.

  • "What I love about my 1-on-1 coaching session with Coach Bella is the way she made me feel all throughout. It was just our second interaction, but it felt like I'd known her for so long. It was so easy to open up my deepest pain. She empowered me and helped me realize things I would never have seen on my own."

    — Miami B.

  • "Bella taught me to give myself grace and to embrace who I am, even when life gets messy. She created a space where I felt safe to be myself, and that acceptance carried into my life outside of our coaching sessions."

    — Heart Core Client

  • "This is the best session ever!!! Just finished writing in my journals — yes, plural talaga 😂 Thank you so much, Coach Bella! You are God-sent!!"

    — Abby L.

  • "I had chills for THE ENTIRE THING. I found myself tearing up, dancing, smiling, and inviting movement into my body. I feel all my feelings and I let them move through me. I release. I am free. Just WOW. Thank you, Bella."
